Skinny Mo's Jazz Club

This sketch was done live at Skinny Mo's during a jazz gig in Kolkata. I wasn't trying to make a perfect drawing. I was just trying to keep up. The band was playing, people were moving, and the whole room kept shifting every few seconds. So the lines had to be quick. No time to fix anything. What you see here is exactly that. A rough capture of the moment. The crowd is not detailed because nobody sits still in a place like that. The musicians are not precise because the music itself keeps changing. The lights, the shadows, the positions, everything keeps moving. It's less about how it looked, and more about how it felt to sit there and observe. A small room, a live band, people packed in, all focused on the same thing for a while.
