People always notice the birds first. That's how it works. They see the chaos, the flapping wings, the noise, the discomfort. They don't look long enough to see the person standing in the middle of it. It's easier that way.
This piece comes from that feeling.
Inspired by Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, where a woman surrounded by pigeons looked frightening from a distance, but wasn't anything close to it. She was just… alone. And somehow, the birds understood that better than people did.
